About Us
Our Background
Approved on January 15, 2016: An Act establishing reforms in the Sangguniang Kabataan, creating enabling mechanisms for meaningful youth participation in nation-bulding and for other purposes. The State recognizes the vital role of the youth in nation-building .and thus, promotes and protects their physical, moral, spiritual, intellectual and social well-being, inculcates in them patriotism, nationalism and other desirable values, and encourages their involvement in public and civic affairs (RA 10742 Section 2).
In line with this mandate the Sangguniang Kabataan Tingub created this platform to inspire the youth to be more engaged in community service for it is the most fulfilling job a youth can do. This platform also serve as a site where the accomplishments of the Sangguniang Kabataan Tingub Officials will be posted. And most importantly, to connect to the millenials in order to build relationship in which sharing of ideas will be done.
MISSION STATEMENT
TO SERVE THE PEOPLE AND COMMUNITY TO THE FULLEST OF OUR RESOURCES AND ABILITIES AND TO SAFEGUARD THEIR WELFARE THROUGH IMPLEMENTATION OF SENSIBLE POLICIES AND PROGRAMS THAT WILL ENABLE EACH EVERY INDIVIDUAL TO BE INVOLVE.
